THE PROS The base unit is beautiful but the controls are can be a bit confusing -- a accidentally deleted a whole disc when I wanted to erase a track. The radio is good, and has a LOT of presets. I also think the 'bump' on the back is good 4 holding and it doubles as a stand. THE CONS The remote is sub-par confusing, and doesn't have a dot-matrix scrolling display. It's made in Malaysia. In my experience, Sony's Malaysian products aren't as reliable as the Japanese once, but I don't think they make much in Japan any more. THE VALUE I payed 250USD, and was surprised that it came with optical cable, decent headphones, a rechargable batt, an AC adapter, and a unit to record from a PC. Before I knew it came with accessories, I thought I was going to get ripped off. Good job Sony.

bad 1)heavy remote ....clip was not designed very well... 2)hump on the back....why don't song just make every md the create using flatback battery.....hate that lump 3)md recorder is combined with metal and plastic....metal top and plastic bottom.....actually that might be good becoz i ALWAYS scratch my md rec on the bottom,.....MZR70

I just recently purchased a G750 and i think its really cool. There are 1 or 2 problems however 1.Battery life tends to run out quickly 2.The screen does not light up 3.A little bit noisy I think that its worth the price though(200 pounds).I love the radio function and the sound quality is great. The G-750 also has the new MDLP feature which i havent tested yet.The design is super cool.It also has a good shell since ive dropped it a couple of times and have noticed no change in the appearance. This is my first review and i hope it helps.

Wow! What more can i say? One of the things that was stopping me from buying a minidisc player was not being able to listen to the radio. This was the player for me!! 40 station presets!! LP2 and LP4 function, cool lcd screen remote as standard! Cool smart design without any ugly freatures. The only thing that i can fault it for was the ear phones. The ear inserts were to large and hurt to put them in...but nevermined but some w.ear ones and everything is fine. A brilliant radio and LP 2 and 4 minidisc recorder for 199.99 with a 5 pack of free minidiscs....bargin!!!!
